How did Cow Has A Gun get it's name?

The original Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six PC game from way back when had an online map where you started in an open field.

I had a skin hack to make my character look like the cow in the Gateway 2000 Computer TV commercials. It sort of looked like the cows in the South Park cartoon.

So when the game started, I would stand still in this open field as the other team would walk by my character (the cow) and you would hear comments like:

“Hey look there’s a cow on this map.”
“Let’s tip the cow over.”
“Stop playing with the cow.”

Then, as they would pass by me, I would stand up and start shooting.                              

Then you would hear comments like:
“WTF!!!”
“Who’s shooting us?”
“Oh my god …the cow has a gun!”

Ha ! Gotcha !
